Shocking easy ways, I dropped weight and changed shape without giving up meals out, the social life & wine.


#1 – CONFESSION

I ATE OUT EVERY WEEK SOMETIMES TWICE & STILL GOT LEANER, FITTER & SLIMMER


So, first confession to my success, I didn’t give up the meals out, or the takeaway.

Sounds too good to be true right? WRONG

My favorite meals included,

Wagamama – Hoisin pulled duck buns,

Teriyaki salmon or chicken and prawn Pad Thai

Nando’s – Rainbow salad with Grilled chicken

Or Butterfly chicken with broccoli and spicy rice.

Miller & Carter – fillet steak with everything changed the chips for salad, even had the sauce.

So how did I do this? I skipped the dessert and opted for a glass of wine now and again,

I enjoy a good malbec or a gin and tonic

#Tip – keep the water in take high, always ask for water on the table and DRINK IT!! Never mistake being dehydrated for hunger and your body will respond accordingly!

Avoid overeating- think comfortably full, feels like the trousers still fit and you can breathe without feeling sick, you can eat out weekly so why do you need to eat like its your final meal?




#2 SHOCKING TRUTH,

sometimes I only worked out for 30 mins in a day and still got RESULTS

The Morning workouts, ONLINE with the girls, an absolute Figure saver! Get up first thing, don’t think just DO, half an hour later your body is fired up and dropping the lbs. The belly is getting flatter this makes it so worth the early morning rise and the guilt free feeling all day is priceless, not to mention the extra time it gives you in the evening with the family.

You MUST do what others won’t, to see RESULTS others won’t get!

ALARMIMG TRUTH: this is the difference between someone doing 30 mins and not doing 30 mins, one will feel & look amazing and the other will wish they did. (don’t be the other)

Some of the workouts will be longer, and maybe not in the morning this works too!

MOVE THE BODY and the BODY will MOVE YOU!! You can’t ignore the endorphins the body shape changes the extra energy, so if like many you don’t want to remain overweight, sluggish, demotivated, unhealthy or uninspiring,

your reason WHY must be so Big, your HOW is easy!!!




#3 TOP SECRET

DON’T MILK IT & DITCH THE DAIRY


Dairy sensitive or not, I made the decision to ditch the butter and yoghurts, I stopped having cream-based sauces and “HORROR” may cause shock, I gave up cheese!! Now I’m a cheese & butter lover so this was not easy however, I wondered how I would feel! Oh, did I mention chocolate had to go too!! That’s not to say I eliminated it to 0 its just to say, I removed it where possible and made choices that helped me lose weight and shape up

The pounds started dropping, my skin was clearing, the bloating stopped, and I felt like this was the easiest sacrifice to make ever. Remember I was still having meals out and takeaways delivered. BETTER CHOICES!!!

If you choose to eat crap you will feel crap

If you choose to eat fast food that makes you feel SH*T you will feel, you guessed it!!!






#4 REVEALED, WHEN IT GETS TO MUCH, & THE CRAVINGS ARE HELL


WHAT CAN HELP? ITS BETTER TO GRAB A FIX THAT WONT DAMAGE YOUR HARD WORK, THAN TO GIVE IN AND BINGE!

IF YOU CAN’T CONTROL YOUR BINGING THEN WE CAN WORK ON THIS!

BUT FOR NOW, HERE ARE SOME OPTIONS THAT STOPPED ME FROM GIVING UP.

#TIP – These little beauties helped me right out in my weakest moments, even your personal trainers struggle (SHOCKER)

The Morrisons fiber bars 90 Cals!! Chocolate flavor or lemon

Alpro vanilla yoghurt was the staple dessert!

Or Salted popcorn (yep, I even got to watch a film and eat popcorn and still lose weight)

#TIP - if you have these treats remember to not overload, enjoy it and don’t rush the moment.

#TIP drink your water before having your treat! (Maybe you won’t need it)

#Tip – do not feel guilty, feel proud you made a better choice. Well done






#5 SLEEP YOURSELF SLIM

YES, YOU HEARD ME, GET TO SLEEP!!

A lack of sleep can increase appetite by changing hormones, makes us more likely to eat or make unhealthy choices and influence how the body fat is lost.

You will be more likely to skip your workout and beat yourself up about it

Sometimes sleep can be affected for different reasons, there are many ways to help with this. So, if you find sleep a big factor in your lack of progress make it a priority to work on it.

Some tips

#TIP - Cut the caffeine

#TIP – Put the phone down and switch the tv off an hour before bed

#TIP- Try a lavender spray, a hot bath before bed and leave the window slightly open whilst being wrapped warm

#TIP – Stress, overthinking and too much going on can have a huge affect on sleep and stress hormone, try to journal write all your worried and things to do down, before going to bed and allow yourself to let it go for the night.







WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU IS POSSIBLE


#6 I STILL GOT TO PARTY WITH FRIENDS

The festive period, the New year, the birthdays, weddings, hen do’s, anniversaries, achievements and many more occasions, the reason to party is always there.

You may think in order to achieve your goals you need to sacrifice the social life; I imagine the very reason you are looking to make these changes in your life is so that you can enjoy your time feeling and looking good! So, let’s do this in the way you mean to go on.

There would be absolutely no point in getting the figure everyone will envy if you can’t enjoy yourself with friends or even worse you undo all your hard work and are back to square one!

SECRET: make better alcohol choices,

what is your favorite drink and why? Now let me put it this way, you have one drink that will make you bloat in that stunning dress you have on and you will wish that those photos had never been taken or you have a drink which will do less damage, last longer and help you remain slender in that dress.

Which one do you think would taste better, knowing this?

I drank a long, large glass of malbec and took my time, even threw in a shot from time to time, would choose a gin and tonic with a cucumber (add your greens 😉) but I ate well that day, made choices that would serve my body and enable me to add the extra calories.

So, your day and the next needs to be prepared!

This is where the rainbow salad and grilled chicken would often be delivered to my door, so I wasn’t having to cook but still felt like I was having that takeout.

#Drink your water!! When you get in and the next day, dehydration & tiredness (main factor as explained earlier will be why you just want to stuff your face and absorb the alcohol

#You MUST CHOOSE!! You had the party; you had the time you wanted with your friends but now you are asking your body for a whole day of more damage? NO, you can’t have it all, so what do you want more? To stop feeling fat, to stop turning down nights out because you can’t show up the way you feel about your figure. Or to keep getting results and still enjoying the social life.

YOUR REASON WHY, MUST BE SO BIG, THE HOW IS EASY!


#7 PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITY




YOUR REASON WHY, IS WHAT WILL DRIVE YOU DAILY, IT WILL MAKE SENSE OF THE JOURNEY AND ITS YOUR REASON TO NOT FAIL.


There are many ways to stay accountable, one of the best is to have a support group or even a PT that is working with you to achieve your specific goal, however you can make it simple, tell a friend, join with a friend, keep a log of your achievements, join a workout class, set your alarms and stick to them! (Remembering your reason why)

The reason for me this recent 12-week journey, was firstly to monitor my changes weekly and see what I could achieve with the 7 ways to a figure everyone will envy

The Purpose was to raise money for charity, Cerebra –a charity for brain damaged injured children

The accountability – I shared photos of my figure/stomach each week on Facebook and Instagram to help inspire others it is possible.
